My first experience with osteopathy was when I was 15 years old after a back injury while surfing. After feeling the benefits of treatment I wanted to pursue a career in manual medicine.

I completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2005 and worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist for over 6 years. Wanting to take my career to the next level, I completed my Masters of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 from Southern Cross University.

I have always been particularly interested in cranial osteopathy and have attended courses hosted by Dr George Stylian, who is well known in this field.

The reason osteopathic philosophy is important to me is that it treats the body holistically, rather than focusing on any single symptom or disease. Osteopathic reasoning is based on anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. It is a life-long journey of mine as a practitioner to continue to refine my skills in the art of palpation and intention when using a therapeutic touch.

I believe that everybody can benefit from osteopathic treatment to increase the body’s function, no matter what their age, health or vitality.

Besides being the proud holder of Southpoint Health (https://www.southpointhealth.com.au/) which i took over from Kathryn Tupper an excellent Osteopath who now resides in Bribie Island and has a new practce which is Bribie Island Osteopathy. I am also the proud owner of Osteopath Sutherland Shire (https://osteopathsutherlandshire.com.au/) which i have combined and practice at our Miranda Branch Suite 306/Level 3, 29 Kiora Rd, Miranda, New South Wales 2228.
